SOLAS NF2 Anti Splashing Tape
The NF2 tape manufactured by H.D Service Co.,Ltd. have been approved by major ship classification societies
in the world. They are used not only new ships but also on running vessels. NF2 tape is applied to around
flanged joints,bonnets of valve and any other threaded connections on liquid pipe system (fuel oil,lubricating
oil,)under pressure which are located in ship’s enging room and others. NF2 tape is perfect anti-splashing for
combustible oil.
SOLAS regulations II-2/15.5.1,II-2/15.3 and II-2/15.4 require oil fuel,Lubricating oil and other flammable oil
piping to be screened or otherwise suitably protected to avoid as practicable oil spray.
Application Scope
NF2 tape is applied to around flanged joints,bonnets of valve and any other threaded connections on liquid
pipe system (fuel oil,lubricating oil)under pressure which are located in ship,s engine room and others.
